SHEZELLE
THE HISTORY
Born and raised in the very heart of south London, Shezelle Marie Brown is a singer/songwriter and dancer. Knowing from the tender age of six that "Music is her one true love". Meant that she would never shy away from the spotlight.
In 1998 Shezelle came across a woman who would change her life forever. She taught her, along with other talented children in her peer group, The hard work it takes to be a true stage performer. Shezelle took those skills with her to eventually add them to the many others that her dedication brought to her.
At the age of sixteen after meeting a former member of sony who had started his own label Shezelle was offered her very first recording contract. Working with them introduced her to NINA SIMMONE AWARD WINNING ARTIST 'ADELAIDE MACKENZIE' WHO SHOWED HER TEQUNIQUE and her true vocal capabilities.
a performance in central london shortly after connected her with 17 a year established sound engineer who out of faith gave her a full home studio from scratch. It didnt take long after that for shezelle to feel completely at one with the microphone.
THE GROUNDWORK
Shezelle recorded hundreds upon hundreds of songs over the last decade years in her bedroom to some of the countries most famous studios around the UK refining her craft and taking the time she felt she needed to develop as an artist.
She also started doing performances in and out of London including three in wemerly for choice fm to raise awareness for sicklecell. WHICH MADE HER MANY TALENTED FRIENDS INCLUDING THE AWARD WINNING FUSE ODG, who inspired her work rate.
After joining an agency in central London Shezelle decided to let the music and fashion go hand in hand
NOW SHE IS WORKING WITH AMERICAN AND US MODELLING AGENCIES AND PHOTOGRAPHERS, WORKING ON HER FIRST BODY OF MUSIC HAS RECORDED WITH THE PERSON WHO WORKED ON THE LABRINTHS BROTHER ALBUM, THE BBC ON A DOCUMENTARY, RUNWAY,radioplay.....THINGS ARE LOOKING GOOD FOR THIS WOMAN.
sHEZELLE IS WORKING WITH ONE OF SOUTH LONDONs MOST TREASURED CHOREOGRAPHERS mr pauly skerrett (whom is taking leave due to an accident) and his phenomenal dance crew x-posure with WHOm SHE HAS WORKED WITH FROM THE AGE OF 13 who will all be bringing you amazing things very shortly. THIS LADY IS NOT ONE TO SLEEP ON.
